I promised myself I wouldn't take any pictures while studying (it's finals after all). Lucky for you, I wasn't very good at holding that promise.
This is totally a grunge look - which I don't typically connect with - yet I find these two girls to be very inspiring. Notice the simple, Carhartt overalls (black) rolled up to expose vintage ankle boots. Also look at the affect of layering the overalls over the bulky sweater. Overall, and interesting play with weight and form. They were simply dressing functional for painting, but I think that there is something here.
