There is an anime convention in town. (As you could probably guess from the above photo) I haven't seen much along the lines of anime and manga, but from what I have, I've been rather jealous of the fashion. Giant shoulder pads, wisping hair, etc. I've also noticed quite a bit of these costume details trickling onto the men's runway (think giant coats with tight pants, crazy military detailing, and pirate blouses). Granted these pieces may have come from other inspirations, but I think it's quite interesting to watch.
